That's a little fishy

I have a reader that on Tuesday heard the name J.C. for the first time. She's never read any of his stories either. She's very interested and is learning quickly. The work here is rewarding. The people are amazingly friendly and helpful.

We took our first venture on the public buses today. Quite an experience. We'll have to share some pictures when we get more time.

The kids are doing well. We are too. We had one of the best meals we've ever eaten last night. The dishes weren't titled well, ("fish-taste eggplant" for example) but they were incredible. I'm definately going to miss that when we come home.

More to come...

Happy 4th of July!!! I know it is weird being away from the states on a holiday like today, when you think everyone should be wearing red, white, and blue and eating apple pie but it's just like any other day in China. Good thing they show fireworks all the time so you won't miss out on those. Just wanted you to know I"m thinking about you and loving you from here. I thank God for you and ask that his protection and favor be with you and the work you are doing. Yummy fish!!! hehe Much Love, K

Thanks for the update. It is hard to imagine that people have not heard the name! I praise God that you are there to share it with them.
Happy 4th! I think it means even more when away from all the celebration and hype.
Love and prayers,
Karol
O Lord, you are my God;
I will exalt you
and praise your name,
for in perfect faithfulness
you have done marvelous things,
things planned long ago.

Hi guys, We just got back to camp from watching "OLD FAITHFULL" blow. It was quite a sight. Yesterday we explored the east and north sides of Yellowstone Nat Park. Wow it was beautiful but the lanscape changes quickly from mountains and pine trees to geysers and sulfur boiling mud pits. They are quite interesting and at places quite beautiful. We have seen more buffalo and elk than one could count. I really like to watch the bears. There are a lot of black bears and we got a great close up look at a BIG GRIZZLEY. It was so exciting. He was just down a small hill from us and he was walking through the meadow eating wild flowers. Not in our direction or I would have stayed in the car. Tomorrow we go white water rafting and thursday morning we start home. We should arive home Sat. It has been a great trip and we have seen some incredabile sites.
I hope you are getting settled in to your new surroundings. LOVE YOU ALL, MOM

Noah, We miss you and can't wait to see you when you get home. We have bought you some presents on our trip. One is a park ranger and all the animals we have seen on our trip. A moose,elk,buffalo,bear,deer wolf,and a rattle snake. Tell Julianna that we have presents for her to. Love You Both. Gramps and Granny
